If we all did a little it would make a large positive environmental change. The true cost of plastic bags is the loss of life, there is an estimated 8 million pounds of trash dumped into the sea every ear and the affect on the ocean environment is in putting over 200 species in danger of dying. These animals die because they eat a plastic bag and suffocate or get strangled by a plastic bag from it wrapping around them and it is becoming catastrophic on all wildlife. So next time you pick up a plastic bag, thinking its so convenient, light and cheap, think again.
